Just a quick update to let everyone know that BENÜMB vocalist, Pete Ponitkoff's has returned home, safe and sound, from his tour of duty in Kuwait and Iraq. Welcome home, Pete!

FEBRUARY 2, 2005
BENÜMB vocalist, Pete Ponitkoff's Army reserve unit was called up for duty. In the meantime BENÜMB has taken a backseat as to what is happening in the light of these current events. Currently, Pete is stationed in Kuwait and his unit will soon be moving to Baghdad within the week, where he'll be until February 2006. For the time being, you can contact him at; PKORE@aol.com

OCTOBER 1, 2004
New BENÜMB material will see the light of day in the beginning of 2005 in the form of a split CD with PREMONITIONS OF WAR through Thorp Records. The nine new tracks were recorded before Pete's departure. Checkback here or at www.thorprecords.com for more information on availability.

NOVEMBER 15, 2003
BENÜMB can be seen on Relapse Records' Recollection DVD Video Collection with a video from their current album, By Means of Upheaval.

In other news, the band has begun writing for a split CD with PREMONITIONS OF WAR which will see an early 2004 release. BENÜMB will be hitting the studio with engineer Larry Santiago (By Means of Upheaval) in December.

Also in it's early stages of development is the next full length album which will mark the band's fourth full length release on Relapse Records and the 10 year anniversary for the band. Expect a mid to late 2004 release date.

BENÜMB recently put together a new video for the track 'Breathing Life Into Predestined Failure' from their latest release "By Means of Upheaval" with director Ivan Landau. The video is nearing completion and will be available for download exclusively on the website soon thereafter.
